Tucked among the pines of Big Bear Lake, Action Tours turns the San Bernardino National Forest into your personal playground. Soar on nine high-speed ziplines, crunch through fresh snow on guided snowshoe treks, or cap the day wit...
Action Zipline Tours delivers a solid adventure with guides who consistently prioritize safety and professionalism. Most visitors rave about the well-organized system, quality equipment, and supportive staff who help even the most height-phobic guests conquer their fears. The tour features nine ziplines with stunning Big Bear views, and there's a convenient harness pouch for phones so you can capture the experience. Multiple families mention returning for second visits, which says a lot about the quality of the actual zipline experience. Customer service experiences vary more than you'd expect. While some guests praise staff members like Alexis for going above and beyond, others report disappointing interactions, particularly around scheduling issues and rental equipment limitations. The front desk seems to enforce policies strictly, which has frustrated some families dealing with booking mistakes. Winter visitors should note that road conditions to the zipline site can be challenging, occasionally requiring chains. Despite some operational hiccups, the guides themselves receive glowing reviews for their attentiveness and ability to make the adventure enjoyable for first-timers and experienced zipliners alike.
The office lady and the shuttle drivers were wonderful people. The Crew was AWESOME! Great bunch of guys. From beginning to end it was a wonderful experience for my 80 year old mom, myself and another friend who came with us. Everyone was completely safe and watched after the entire time. I recommend this trip for anyone willing to have fun! I want to add... it has been 4 years now and I meant to post this sooner but it is still difficult. My mom, at 80, passed away a few months later. We did a balloon ride in ABQ; she did the Tennessee River Boat ride and more touring around the country; Denver, Seattle, but she never stopped talking about how much fun the zip line was. It really made a memory for us all to see her so happy and to see her face light up when we talked about it. I STILL wear the T-Shirt!!
