Captains Alex and Bryce consistently earn praise for putting guests on fish and keeping the atmosphere fun throughout the trips. Most trips result in plenty of keepers, with grouper, snapper, and various other species regularly hitting the deck. After your trip, you can have your catch cleaned and head right to O'Leary's Tiki Bar next door to have it cooked. A couple of isolated complaints mention trip cancellations and a fish mix-up, but the overwhelming majority of guests leave satisfied, with many becoming repeat customers. The split between 4.5, 6, and longer charter options means you can choose your own adventure based on your group's stamina.
What can I say other than if you don’t book a trip with Captain Alex and his mate Brice, you are missing out. Myself and 5 friends went out Sunday 6/29/25 for a 12 hour trip. We were greeted at the dock by Brice who was already hard at work at 6 am. Once we all got there we boarded and Alex and Brice graciously carried our coolers and bags on for us. We could have limited out on our Red Snapper at the first spot within 30 minutes but chose to be picky about our keepers so we made several more stops throughout the day our lines were never without bait and I even needed help reeling in a few beast, of course either Brice or Alex were right there without hesitation. We got some nice grouper and even a decent sized porgy. This trip was worth every bit of what we paid. So my advice is to book a trip, you will not regret it!
