Get Up and Go Kayaking invites you to trade ordinary paddles for a front-row seat to nature on the world’s original clear-kayak tour. Founded by adventure-loving husband-and-wife team Justin and Tia Buzzi, the company leads intima...
This kayaking operation has clearly mastered the art of the guided paddle tour. The guides, particularly Tommy and Lance (with Jeremiah and Peyton also earning praise), consistently impress visitors with their deep knowledge of the local ecosystem, from mangrove ecology to bird identification. What stands out most is how these guides balance education with entertainment, keeping groups engaged without overdoing the commentary. They're patient with beginners, generous with photo opportunities, and skilled at managing groups of various sizes. The route itself hits all the right notes: paddling through scenic mangrove tunnels, wildlife spotting at eye level (herons, pelicans, and frequent dolphin encounters), and a beach stop for shelling that guests repeatedly mention as a highlight. The 2.5-hour timeframe seems perfectly paced, with rest breaks built in and enough variety to keep things interesting. Multiple reviewers note this ended up being a trip highlight they hadn't initially prioritized, which speaks volumes. Even those who kayaked in less-than-ideal weather conditions came away thrilled with the experience.
We had a wonderful afternoon kayak with Lance as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and a ton of fun! We saw beautiful birds, kayaked through mangroves, and spent some time on a gorgeous beach with shells. I absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Naples!
