Oeno Winemaking is O‘ahu’s only working winery, handcrafting more than 150 natural, low-sulfite wines in Kailua. Guided by an Italian method that locks in freshness and delivers a clean, silky finish, the team infuses every bottle...
This tucked-away winery offers something genuinely different for Oahu visitors. Marshall, the owner, and his team create innovative wines with Hawaiian twists like coconut, pineapple, and root beer varieties that surprise guests in the best way. The warehouse setting catches some people off guard, but the warm, laid-back atmosphere more than compensates. Staff members like Tony, Noah, and Brian are consistently praised for being knowledgeable and generous with their pours, making tastings feel like conversations with friends rather than rushed transactions. The food pairings deserve special mention. The warm sourdough bread with roasted garlic butter and the baked herb goat cheese come up repeatedly as must-tries. Long-time customers rave about hosting annual events here for 15+ years, which speaks volumes about consistency. While a couple of visitors had disappointing experiences with miscommunication about wine availability, the overwhelming majority describe memorable, personable visits. This is clearly a place where the staff's expertise and genuine hospitality shine through, making it a refreshing alternative to typical wine tasting experiences.
We had such a wonderful time here at this winery. Noah was fabulous as will as the conversation with Marshall. Would recommend this it is off the beaten path but you will enjoy…. Had fresh sour dough bread with roasted garlic butter and yummy pimento cheese spread.❤️
