Captains TJ and Tucker consistently earn high praise for their ability to find fish, and that really seems to be the heart of what makes this charter stand out. Trips regularly produce impressive hauls, from grouper and snapper to barracuda, with one reviewer limiting on grouper before 10:30am. First mates like Afton and Tristan get plenty of recognition too, keeping things running smoothly and going out of their way to make sure everyone on board is having a good time. Families with kids come up repeatedly in these reviews, and the crew clearly puts in extra effort to keep younger anglers engaged and actually catching. Fish cleaning is handled onboard, and the crew will point you toward a local restaurant to have your catch cooked fresh, which seems to be a favorite way for people to end the day. Booking coordinator Donna also gets a shoutout for being patient and helpful when setting up trips. With a near-perfect rating across hundreds of reviews, this is a charter with a track record that speaks for itself. Repeat customers are common, and many reviewers mention plans to come back, which is usually the most honest endorsement there is.
I’ve been out with Stella several times now, and they’ve been awesome every time. The boats are always clean, and the captains and crew are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. They make you feel welcome from the moment you step on the boat, like you’ve known them forever. They’re always happy to help, answer questions, and make sure everyone has a great time. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and work hard to put you on fish. I recommend Stella to anyone looking for a great day offshore, and I’m already looking forward to our next trip!
