Renting a boat here is about as low-stress as it gets. The check-in process is quick and straightforward, the boats are consistently described as clean and well-maintained, and staff members like Becca and Shane get regular shoutouts for going the extra mile. Whether you're heading out to fish or just cruise Mission Bay, the dock crew takes time to walk you through everything before you go, which first-timers especially seem to appreciate. The pontoon boats are a clear crowd favorite for groups, complete with Bluetooth speakers and a table on board for snacks or games. Skiffs are also available for those focused on fishing, with reasonable pricing and a no-fuss rental process. One small heads-up: the live bait station is cash only, so come prepared if that's part of your plan. The overwhelming majority of reviews reflect a genuinely positive experience, and repeat visits are mentioned frequently. There is the occasional frustration around customer service when things go sideways, so it's worth communicating clearly with staff if any issues come up on the water. Overall though, the combination of friendly staff, clean equipment, and an easy booking process makes this a solid choice for a day out on the bay.
First time here and definitely not the last. The people there were friendly, courteous and professional. Entering the building was impressive Everything including the restrooms were clean and spotless. Shoutout to the guy who explained everything we needed to know at the boat dock . Just a heads up, the live bait station only accepts cash so be prepared. Till next time and thanks for adding to an amazing day
