Parasail over the Jersey Shore with options to stay dry or dip in the water
1.5 Hours
Up to 12 people
Parasail ride, Boat time
Soar above Monmouth County’s coastline on a 1.5-hour parasailing trip from Belmar. Take off and land from a 31-foot parasail boat and choose a dry flight, a gentle dip, or a full dunk.
Minimum age to come on the boat is 5 years old, and anyone under 18 needs a parent or guardian to sign the waiver. Guests who are pregnant, have a heart condition or back pain, or need a walker to access the dock/boat cannot be accommodated due to insurance requirements. Observers may be allowed for an additional fee—confirm availability and the exact cost with Greetwell before booking.
Payment in full is required to hold a reservation. No refunds for reservations not canceled with 24 hours notice or for no-shows.
You launch from the river (not the ocean). Free parking is limited. Park at 608 River Road in Belmar, then walk across the railroad tracks, under the bridge, and toward the river. Turn right at the river and follow the “Belmar Parasail Ahead” sign to the first dock (the L dock); the boat is the first slip on the right.
Wear a swimsuit with a cover-up. You can bring a small tote bag or backpack with a towel and bottles of water.
No. The operator cannot accommodate you if you are pregnant, have a heart condition or back pain, or need a walker to get onto the dock or the boat (insurance requirements).
Belmar, New Jersey
Belmar Parasail runs a tight ship with a crew that knows how to make people feel safe and comfortable, even those terrified of heights. Reviewers consistently praise the professional yet friendly atmosphere, with many families returning year after year for the experience. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate guests, making everything from booking to rebooking remarkably easy. You might even spot dolphins during your trip, which adds an unexpected bonus to the parasailing itself. The overwhelmingly positive feedback highlights how well the captains and crew balance efficiency with creating a fun, relaxed vibe. Multiple generations enjoy the experience together, and returning customers speak volumes about the consistency of service. One reviewer had an unfortunate experience with a captain they felt was aggressive and created an unsafe atmosphere, though another review specifically praised that same captain for excellent hospitality. The only other minor complaint worth noting is that the photos don't always zoom in enough to clearly see faces. Overall, this family-run operation has built a stellar reputation for delivering memorable parasailing adventures on the water.
