This experience was enjoyed by everyone, from the young to the seasoned. Six of us participated in the tour, ranging in age from nine to seventy-five, and it was wonderful. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly, and he took the time to convey the historical impacts on African Americans as well as his personal ties to the community. He informed us about the future impact and how the money we spend on this tour helps further uplift and give back to the neighborhoods and people. In addition to visiting various sites, he has visuals, books, brochures, and other items to help bridge the connections discussed. We are very grateful for this experience and look forward to hearing all the amazing things to come!
