Renters must be 16+ and your rental starts at the scheduled time. Return bikes on time; after a 15-minute grace period, a $40 fee applies for every additional hour late. Replacement fees may be charged for lost or damaged bikes, helmets, keys, or locks.
Cancel at least 1 day before your scheduled rental for full reimbursement. Cancellations with less than a 1 day notice can reschedule at no additional cost. Full reimbursement if the operator cancels due to bad weather conditions, mechanical issues, or other circumstances beyond their control.

Hunter Springs Park sits at the heart of Crystal River's spring-fed waterfront, a shaded pocket of Old Florida where clear water meets gentle sand and manatees drift through the cove on cooler mornings. Rolling up to Hunter Springs Park on an e-bike is the easiest way to take it all in, swapping parking hassles and traffic for a breezy ride along quiet streets lined with live oaks and water views. The park is one of the most beloved access points to Kings Bay, and reaching it under your own power, with a little electric assist, sets the tone for a relaxed, unhurried day on the water's edge.
The Crystal River e-bike rental gives you the freedom to glide between the town's best stops, and Hunter Springs Park is a natural anchor for the route. Pedal in past the swaying palms, lock up near the boardwalk, and you are steps from a swim in the spring, a stroll along the sandy beach, or a quiet bench overlooking boats bobbing in the bay. The air smells faintly of salt and warm grass, kids laugh from the shallow water, and paddlers slide silently past on kayaks and paddleboards. Compared with the busier launches in town, Hunter Springs Park feels neighborly and unhurried, a place to linger before continuing on to downtown shops, waterfront restaurants, or the heritage trails nearby.
This stop is perfect for couples looking for a scenic pause, families who want a safe, shaded place to cool off, and active travelers who like covering ground without breaking a sweat. Wildlife lovers will appreciate the chance to spot manatees and wading birds right from shore, and photographers will find the turquoise water and mossy oaks irresistible. With the e-bike doing the heavy lifting and Hunter Springs Park waiting at the end of the ride, exploring Crystal River becomes effortlessly memorable.
Swimming with manatees in Crystal River is a bucket-list experience, and this tour company consistently delivers on that promise. Guides like Topher, Madeleine, and the various captains (GQ, Chris, Dom, and others) come up regularly in reviews for being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely passionate about the manatees and local ecosystem. Several reviewers noted that their guides actively sought out quieter spots away from crowds, giving groups more relaxed, up-close encounters with these gentle animals. The operation itself is well-organized, with wetsuits, clean snorkel gear, and educational prep before hitting the water. Early morning tours seem to be a sweet spot for calmer conditions and less boat traffic. Many tours also include a stop at Three Sisters Springs, which adds a beautiful bonus to the overall outing. The crew's enthusiasm for conservation shines through too, with guests frequently mentioning how much they learned about manatee habitats and ongoing restoration efforts. With a near-perfect rating across well over a thousand reviews, this one is hard to argue against. First-timers who are nervous about getting in the water will find the staff patient and encouraging, and families with kids have consistently had great experiences here. If a manatee encounter is on your Florida itinerary, this tour is a very solid way to make it happen.
Had an excellent trip today with Explorida. Topher was our guide and he was entertaining and had great information for us. Got to see a few manatees, watching them graze for a long time. Definitely recommend this tour!
