This Wilmington Riverfront brewpub has recently reopened to an enthusiastic welcome from loyal regulars, and the early signs are promising. The food quality has drawn solid praise, with highlights including the turkey burger, truffle fries, and cheesesteak egg rolls. The beer lineup, including their Riverfront IPA, is a clear draw, and standout staff members like Erica and Amanda have been called out by name for making guests feel genuinely at home. Service consistency is still finding its footing post-reopening, with some guests experiencing slow drink times and inattentive servers while others were taken care of quickly and warmly. The venue itself is large and lively, with outdoor upstairs seating adding to the atmosphere. Given that growing pains are common after a reopening, most regulars seem willing to give it the benefit of the doubt, and the ownership has shown responsiveness to guest concerns. If you're flexible and in it for the vibe and the beer, it's worth a visit.
The menu is a bit smaller but the food quality is way up! The turkey burger was delicious and the fries were perfectly cooked. More impressive was the improved service. We were seated quickly, and Dan our server was on top of things. He checked on us but wasn't intrusive and he kept the drinks topped off. Absolutely thrilled IHB is back!
