Tucked into a gorgeous mountain valley, this family-run farm and lodge has built a loyal following of repeat visitors who keep coming back year after year. The scenery alone is worth the trip, but what really stands out is the warmth of the staff and the genuine sense of community the place creates. Horseback riding, fishing ponds, farm animals, hiking trails, and live bluegrass music on weekends give guests plenty to fill their days. Accommodations range from tent campsites to renovated farmhouse cottages, and the home-cooked buffet meals consistently earn high praise. Campers appreciate the clean facilities and surprisingly affordable rates. One thing worth knowing: a few guests have flagged that the pet-friendly motel rooms can feel dated and carry some odor, so opting for a cabin or cottage seems to be the smarter choice for a more comfortable stay. Families with kids seem especially in their element here, with bonfires, marshmallow roasting, and open fields creating the kind of memories that bring people back for a second or eighth visit. The vibe is relaxed and unpretentious, and that simplicity is genuinely part of the charm.

I stayed here for a car camping trip as a solo female traveler and am so glad I made the stop! The property is absolutely beautiful, and the people here were incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt completely safe throughout my stay, and all of the facilities were exceptionally clean. There is wifi, bathrooms, showers, a restaurant and an awesome camp store. The campsites are very affordable, too. There is so much more than this!! I highly recommend this spot and will absolutely be back!
