Bring your dog along for a guided walk through Kennebunkport and Lower Village with tastings for both of you. You will visit local spots, hear canine nutrition tips and fun facts, and enjoy a relaxed route.
Tours are limited to 6 guests (and dogs). Dogs must be on a leash that is 6 feet or shorter, and you are responsible for picking up after your dog.
ALL tickets without tour insurance are non-refundable. If we choose to cancel this tour due to inclement weather, we will notify you and you will receive a refund.
Where exactly do I meet the guide?
Meet your MDV guide at 2 Ocean Avenue in Dock Square. Look for benches in front of the Abacus shop and a sign in nearby flower pots.
Where should I park?
Parking is recommended at the Community Parking Lot (free) at 30 North St (about an 8-minute walk to the start), or the Dock Square Parking Lot (pay per hour) behind Alisson’s Restaurant at 11 Dock Square (about a 1-minute walk).
What are the leash rules for dogs on this tour?
Your dog must be on a leash that is 6 feet or shorter.
Do I need to bring anything for my dog?
You are responsible for picking up after your dog; extra bags will be available.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
All tickets without tour insurance are non-refundable. If the tour is canceled due to inclement weather, you will be notified and will receive a refund.

The guides here really make or break the experience, and fortunately most travelers rave about their personalities and expertise. Tyler brings Portland's history to life on walking tours, while AJ wins people over with her humor and local recommendations. Ray and Timothy both get praise for their knowledge and storytelling abilities, though opinions vary on pacing. The oyster and bubbles boat tour sounds particularly special, with a master shucker guiding you through Portland's oyster scene. Tours cover both Portland and Bar Harbor locations, with options ranging from history walks to culinary experiences. Food portions generally satisfy guests, with most leaving pleasantly full from stops featuring lobster rolls, chowder, and other Maine staples. A few travelers felt the tours spent too much time on guide monologues rather than diving into building histories or meeting restaurant owners. The occasional complaint surfaces about pacing or wanting more variety in stops. Our guide, Timothy, was fantastic. Lot's of knowledge, entertaining, and an accomplished artist so we got to see his work around Old Port on our travels. This is the kind of tour that we will do again when we hit Portland next year. Just a good time. It took just shy of 3 hours and ours ended with chocolates which was a nice touch.
