Ride the Logger Steam Train on a narrated, 1-hour journey through the Sierra forest. Choose covered cars or open-air log cars and enjoy the scenery rain or shine.
Arrive 30 minutes early to pick up tickets. Optional gold panning runs in groups of 8–10 for about 20 minutes and is open from 10:00am until 30 minutes after the last train returns. GPS may be unreliable; follow Highway 41.

The Yosemite Mountain Sugar Pine Railroad is located on State Highway 41 in Fish Camp, CA. Watch for the entrance archway located on the east side of the highway. The railroad is located 12 miles north of Oakhurst and 5 miles south of the southern entrance to the Yosemite National Park on Highway 41.
