Cruising the Cape Fear River with this crew is a genuinely enjoyable way to spend an afternoon in Wilmington. The guides, including knowledgeable narrators like Hunter Ingram and Dr. Fonvielle, bring real depth to the tours, covering everything from local film history to Scottish immigration roots in the region. The Outlander-themed cruise seems to be a crowd favorite, and the staff consistently earns praise for being welcoming, attentive, and even helpful with guests who need extra assistance boarding. The atmosphere on board is relaxed and social, with a bar available and occasional live music that has turned some trips into impromptu dance parties. The tours run just under an hour, which feels like the right length. One practical tip worth noting from reviewers: buy tickets in advance since the boat can fill up quickly.
The people there so nice!. The history was really interesting. The place is beautiful. I have to be there again.
