Huron Lady II Cruises
Most passengers thoroughly enjoy their time on the water here, praising the friendly and knowledgeable crew who make the experience both relaxing and educational. The boat itself gets compliments for being easy to navigate, and guests appreciate the informative commentary from the captain as they cruise along the St. Clair River and out onto Lake Huron. Many visitors make this a regular tradition, going multiple times to catch different views and seasonal scenery. The open-air top deck is a highlight for those wanting unobstructed views of the water and surrounding landscape. The main comfort consideration is the wooden bench seating on the upper deck, which several guests found uncomfortable during the 1.5-hour cruise. A cushion might be worth bringing if you plan to sit there. While the vast majority of reviews are enthusiastic, a couple of recent guests reported issues with staff friendliness and found the tour underwhelming, though these experiences seem to be outliers. Overall, this appears to be a solid choice for tourists wanting to see the area from the water without renting their own vessel.
We took the Huron Lady ll cruise for our anniversary in October. It was the very last one of the season. It was wonderful and so relaxing. We loved going under the Bluewater bridge and going out on lake Huron. We would do it again if we get to the Thumbcoast area!
