This nonprofit shark conservation center runs as a compact, self-guided experience where knowledgeable volunteers and staff are stationed throughout to answer questions and share their enthusiasm for shark research. Visitors consistently praise how friendly and informative the team is, clearly passionate about their conservation mission. The exhibits cover local shark populations with interactive elements like a sand table that demonstrates feeding patterns, plus there's a popular outdoor activity where kids can dig for real shark teeth and have them turned into necklaces for a small additional fee. It's a quick visit rather than an all-day attraction, but most find it worthwhile for the educational value and the chance to support active shark research. Advanced reservations are recommended since they do enforce closing times strictly. The gift shop offers quality shark-themed items, with purchases supporting ongoing conservation work. Perfect for families wanting to learn about Cape Cod's shark ecosystem while contributing to a good cause.
