For more than four decades, Ike’s Beach Service has welcomed Gulf Coast visitors with everything they need for a carefree day on the sand. Family owned and run, the team pairs genuine Southern hospitality with award-winning beach ...
The standout feature here is the beach attendants who really seem to take pride in their work. Reviewers consistently name-drop staff members like Sam, Seth, Nathan, and Colby who go above and beyond—adjusting umbrellas throughout the day, checking in regularly, and even handling awkward situations when other beachgoers try to steal rented chairs. The online reservation system gets praise for being straightforward, and the delivery service is reliable for anyone staying at a beach rental who wants equipment dropped off and picked up without hassle. Most experiences are overwhelmingly positive, though there are a couple hiccups worth noting. One person had a frustrating miscommunication with management about their multi-day rental schedule, and another felt their chairs were set up too far from the water with no flexibility to move them closer. These seem like isolated incidents rather than patterns, but they suggest it's worth confirming specific details if you have particular preferences about setup location or scheduling. Overall, this is a convenient option with attentive staff that makes beach days easier, especially for travelers flying in without their own gear.
We stayed at Gulf Shore State Park in a class c camper. It was so nice to be able to request the bikes without having to unhook camper to pick up the bikes or to walk over a hour to pick up the bikes. They dropped the bikes right off at our campsite as well as picked them up. He went over the bikes to make sure we understood how to use them.
