Motorsport Lab turns the world’s greatest automotive playgrounds into your personal adventure. Led by veteran insiders, guests gain rare factory access to Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, and more, then feel the rush on track, ...
The Motorsport Lab operates a mixed bag experience that really depends on what you're walking into. When things work, several drivers report genuine thrills pushing supercars around the autocross course, with encouraging instructors who push you to test the limits within reason. The cars themselves are in good condition, and some staff members go out of their way to accommodate guests and create memorable bucket-list moments. Be prepared for the reality though: this is a small parking lot course with cones, not a full racetrack, and the laps fly by quickly in just a few minutes. The serious red flags center around reliability and communication. Multiple customers report last-minute cancellations via email with virtually no way to reach anyone by phone, leaving people stranded after booking hotels and time off work. The paperwork is intimidating with extensive liability waivers, and while some reviewers say not to worry about the insurance add-ons, others felt pressured by the potential costs. There's also confusion around gratuities and additional fees beyond the initial purchase price. The mobile nature of the operation means experiences can vary wildly by location, with some customers in Florida and New Hampshire describing particularly disappointing setups. If you do book, go in with realistic expectations about the course size, plan for extra costs, and perhaps have a backup plan given the operational inconsistencies.
I was gifted the experience, three laps in either a Lamborghini or a Ferrari, and I chose to pay the additional fee to get an extra 3 laps and drove both. I was initially disappointed at the size of the course, as it looked very small - but don't let the size of the course throw you! For the $89 dollars my friend spent with another platform, and the additional money I spent out of pocket, which was less than $200, I got to have the most fun I could ever imagine. My friend has been wanting me to write down how I feel about the experience - how does one describe the feeling of going out and beating on a supercar, even if only for a few minutes?! The best way I can think to describe it the exhilaration of driving the cars exceeds their acceleration! The paperwork is rather intimidating, but when I got there, the staff said not to waste my money on most of the waivers, and during the initial "instructions" the manager said have fun - and that is exactly what I did! I drove those cars to the limit of my ability, within the scope of only having a few laps to get a feel for what they could do. If you have ever wondered about what it would be like to drive a supercar, and you know you will never be able to afford one - this is one way to get that experience. For me this was worth every penny spent. A day and a half later and I am still stoked!
