Fisherman’s Wharf has been a Port Aransas tradition since 1971, welcoming anglers, families, and Gulf Coast adventurers alike. Their local captains and experienced crew lead comfortable, well-equipped trips aboard the iconic Wharf...
Man, what a day out of Fisherman's Wharf. We pushed off early, just light on the water, coffee in hand, that cool morning air you only get on the bay. You could tell right away it was going to be one of those trips. Good group on the boat, everybody laughing before we even cleared the channel. And then the fishing just turned on. It wasn't long waiting, it was rod-bending, reel-screaming fun. Trout, reds, drum — one after another. The captain put us right on them. By midday the coolers were full and we had the whole boat limited out. Everybody caught fish. Not just a few, a real, honest limit. You don't see that every day. Crew was spot on. Helpful without hovering, knew exactly when to net, when to re-tie, when to tell a story. Real professionals who love what they do, and it shows. And the food — way better than you'd expect on a fishing boat. Hot, fresh, and plenty of it. Nothing like eating good after you've been working the rods all morning. Already counting down till we can go again. If you've been thinking about booking a trip out of Fisherman's Wharf, do it. It was just pure fun from dock to dock. Can't wait to go back.
