Itinerary
Your Discover Scuba experience begins with a morning pool session designed to help first time diverse feel comfortable and confident underwater before heading to the coral reef.
Morning Pool Session
- 9am-11am
- 3850 N Roosevelt Blvd, Key West
Meet your instructor for hands-on introduction to scuba diving where you’ll learn:
- basic scuba skills
- breathing techniques
- underwater communication
- equipment use
- safety procedures
No prior scuba experience is required!
Midday Break
After the pool session, enjoy a break for lunch or snacks before meeting for the ocean portion of the experience.
Afternoon Reef Dive

Boat Departs at 1:30pm
Head out to the Florida Keys national Marine sanctuary for your guided reef dive with a professional, PADI instructor. Divers will explore shallow reef areas filled with tropical marine life, coral, formations, and clear blue water in a beginner, friendly environment.
Return Guest Return by 5:30pm

Important details
- Arrive at 9:00am sharp for pool training and 1:00pm sharp for the afternoon check-in
- Ages 10+ only
- Swimming ability and comfort in the water required
- Complete the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI) medical questionnaire before arrival; a doctor must sign page 3 if any answer is yes
- Complete required waivers before participating
- Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- Do not consume alcohol or drugs before diving
- Do not bring bananas on the boat
- Expect a temporary $5 fuel surcharge not included in the listed price
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 72 hours before the activity. Cancellations within 72 hours, holiday cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals are nonrefundable and cannot be transferred or rescheduled. Trips run rain or shine unless canceled by the captain; ocean conditions are not grounds for a refund.

Bring a towel, swimsuit, drinks, and snacks. Use mineral-based reef-safe sunscreen and UPF sunwear if possible.
Flying is not recommended for at least 18 hours after the activity.
