Explore Alligator River National Wildlife Refuge on a restored activity school bus with a NC state certified environmental educator. Look for black bears, red wolf habitat, alligators, and migratory birds while learning the area’s natural and cultural history.
An 8 person minimum is required for this tour to run. Meet at 5:50 PM; departure is at 6 PM. The refuge must be exited no later than 30 minutes after dark, so late arrivals may shorten the tour. No glass allowed.
Full refund with at least 48 hours’ notice. Cancellations made 24–48 hours before start incur a 50% fee. No refunds within 24 hours unless the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
