Yes. Each attendee (adults and children) must complete a waiver—one per person, regardless of age. Complete the digital waiver before you arrive so your tour can launch as scheduled.
Bring water, sunscreen (apply before arrival), a hat and/or sunglasses, bug spray if desired, and a towel. Wear flip-flops or water shoes if you have them; tennis shoes work in the park but may get wet. Dress for the weather—this is a water-based activity and your clothes may get a little wet.

Guides like Ian, James, Michael, and Cricket show up repeatedly in these reviews, and the consistent praise for their knowledge, patience, and personality is hard to ignore. Whether it's navigating mangrove tunnels, spotting manatees and dolphins, or helping first-time kayakers feel comfortable on the water, the guides seem genuinely invested in making the experience enjoyable for everyone. Several reviewers specifically noted how patient and accommodating the team was with kids, beginners, and even non-English speakers. Wildlife sightings are a real highlight here. Dolphins, manatees, ospreys, herons, and even flamingos pop up regularly across reviews, making it feel less like a paddling trip and more like a legitimate nature tour. The guides also take photos for you at no extra charge, which is a thoughtful touch that several people called out. Sunset tours get especially glowing mentions, and the bioluminescence tour sounds like a return-trip motivator for more than a few visitors. One practical note from a reviewer worth passing along: bring water, a hat, and sunscreen. The sun exposure is real, and a little preparation goes a long way. Beyond that, the overall sentiment here is overwhelmingly enthusiastic, with many reviewers already planning their return visit.
James was absolutely fantastic. I had the time of my life out there!! We did the mangrove tour. It was so great! He was so informative, answered all our questions. Learned so much cool stuff. Saw dolphins, manatees, silverfish, saw some cool birds. It was so relaxing. He was patient with a friend that needed help getting through the tunneling part. He's great if you're new to kayaking! He was so patient with the people who didn't speak English very well on our tour group. I would absolutely love to come back and do the night ones next!! 5/5 you need to do this with them!!
