Know before you go

• Arrive 15 minutes early at Kingfish Boat Ramp, 752 Manatee Ave, Holmes Beach
• Drivers must be age 21 or older with at least 2 years of recent boating experience
• Drivers born before January 1, 1988 need a valid driver’s license
• Drivers born on or after January 1, 1988 need a valid driver’s license and boater’s license or boating safety course
• A temporary renter-specific boater’s license test is available for $9 and is valid for 90 days
• Everyone in your party must sign a waiver; guardians sign for minors under 18
• The renter and driver must sign the boat rental agreement
• Pay $5.50 per gallon for ethanol-free gas used during your rental
• Keep life vests on children under age 7 at all times
• Do not smoke on the boat
• Damage protection is required and covers damage, equipment loss, and third-party property damage up to $1,000
