150 Meeting St. Charleston, SC 29401
Standing at the corner of Meeting and Cumberland streets in the heart of Charleston, Circular Congregational Church draws you in with its distinctive round sanctuary and weathered brick facade. The surrounding graveyard, one of the oldest in the city, invites quiet reflection among mossy stones that predate the American Revolution. Circular Congregational Church rewards a slow, attentive visit.
We were visiting Charleston just for the week and happened to stumble onto this amazing concert that performs every Wednesday night in a very old and beautiful round Church. The music took us through the years of Charleston’s history and I’m talking top notch, amazingly talented musicians and singers! It was a great night out - uplifting, educational and inspirational. We left so happy, and feeling very lucky that we happened upon this little Charleston gem!
