With an exceptional track record, this dolphin tour delivers what matters most: plenty of active dolphins and a genuinely entertaining crew. Guides like Captain Derek, Kim, Matt, Chelsea, and Gator get consistent shout-outs for being funny, knowledgeable, and professional. Many guests report seeing dolphins within minutes of departure, often swimming right alongside the boat, and the sunset cruises come with beautiful views and a well-curated music playlist. The operation runs smoothly, with punctual departures, easy boarding, and boats that don't feel overcrowded. Families with kids have a blast, and even large groups like Girl Scouts and school trips report excellent experiences. One reviewer noted that shorter guests and those who board later might struggle with viewing angles when dolphins appear on the opposite side, but this seems to be the exception rather than the norm. The overwhelming consensus is that this is a highlight of any Tybee Island visit, with some guests loving it enough to book twice.

Great experience. A few things to note that I wish we would have known.. get there early, like actually. Parking was pretty full, we had to park far… your sandals will get sandy from the walk! We got there 10 mins before boarding and we were the last group to get on the third boat. Which is fine, but it was a lot of waiting for the kids. They have you get a laminated boarding pass at a check in window.. so plan to wait in line for that … you don’t use e-tickets. It also means we got last preference for seating .. which was front of the boat without shade. If you sit in the front, plan for a hat or visor. We wanted the front of the ship, but you may not. Snacks are pre-board not on board. I also am unsure if there is a bathroom on board. I’m sure there is, they just never announced it. They had portable bathrooms before boarding but were out of water to wash your hands. The tour was cool.. we didn’t get super close to the dolphins like we have gotten on tours in the past. But it was still a great experience!
