Captain Rob, Captain Ron, and their rotating crew of first mates consistently earn praise for creating a laid-back, welcoming atmosphere that feels more like going out with friends than a typical tour. Guests love that the captains share local knowledge and fun facts without overdoing it, playing background music at just the right level and hitting favorite sunset spots where dolphins frequently appear. The jet ski rentals also get enthusiastic reviews, with staff providing clear instructions that help even nervous first-timers feel comfortable and safe on the water. The tiki boat tours, especially the sunset cruises, seem to be the standout experience here. Multiple groups mention seeing dolphins (though the crew wisely reminds guests that wildlife sightings aren't guaranteed), and the overall vibe is relaxed and conversational rather than rushed or overly scripted. One guest felt the haunted tour stretched thin content over two hours, and another found their pontoon rental disappointing in terms of size and condition, but these seem to be outliers. Most visitors highlight the friendly, professional staff who genuinely care about the local marine life and making sure everyone has a great time.
This is not a “stuffy”, “won’t shut up” kind of experience. It’s a good captain and very capable first mate that provide an enjoyable, calm, serene experience - they play background music at a low level so it’s not eerily quiet but isn’t drowning out conversation. They provide some fun and interesting facts about the area and a few laughs. We had a really nice dolphin experience and a fantastic sunset - the picture I posted was from Captain Ron’s favorite sunset spot.
