Ride Florence's sand dunes at your own pace on an unguided machine rental. Staff lead you to the dune entrance, then you take over the navigation and explore independently.

Important details

• At least one person in your group must be 18 or older with a valid driver's license. Suspended or revoked licenses are not accepted. Riders under 18 on single-seat quads require an accompanying adult on a separate machine.
• Side-by-side drivers must be 30 or older with a valid driver's license. Bring your license to present at check-in. Two- and four-seat rentals are for intermediate and advanced riders.
• Single-seat riders must meet Oregon's rider-fit requirements: fingers must extend beyond the brake and clutch levers, knees must bend at least 45 degrees with feet on the pegs, and elbows must remain bent while sitting upright. Requires turning the handlebars fully in both directions while maintaining grip, throttle, and brake control.
• Side-by-side passengers must fit a helmet properly and sit securely in the seatbelt with their back against the seat and feet on the floor. Eligibility depends on actual fit.
• Pregnancy, impaired use or absence of body parts, and restricted movement or control prevent participation. Injuries, casts, braces, or medical boots that impair riding or driving also prevent participation. Requires sufficient physical and mental fitness to ride safely, understand the rules, and sign your own name on the rental contract. Service may be refused for safety concerns.
• No animals are allowed in or on the rental machines.
• Bring a credit or debit card for the damage deposit; the cardholder must be present. Cash, gift cards, and prepaid cards are not accepted for deposits. If you are each responsible for your own machine, each responsible renter needs a card.
• Side-by-side rentals require a $3,000 card hold per machine for 1 business day, separate from the listed price. Single-seat quads typically have no funds held, but require a copy of your card; a damage deposit hold of up to $500 per machine may apply. You are responsible for damage you cause, and damage costs are not included in the listed price.
• Do not consume alcohol on the day of your rental or use recreational drugs.
• Return to the office on your own before your rental period ends. Rentals operate rain or shine. Similar quad models may be substituted without notice.
• Arrive 45 minutes early for paperwork and preparation, or 60 minutes early for groups of 8 or more. Your rental starts at the reserved time; arriving late reduces your riding time and may mean losing the ride entirely.
