- Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled ride for check-in and safety instructions
- Complete a waiver for every rider before check-in; riders under 18 need a parent or guardian present to complete it
- Ages 8+ only
- Weight limit 240 lbs, including clothing, bags, cameras, and other items you take on the ride; weigh-in required at check-in
- Wear closed-toe, closed-back shoes; flip-flops, sandals, Crocs, and Croc-like shoes are not allowed
- Expect a $9 cash-only Sea Pines vehicle entry pass if you're not staying in Sea Pines; not included in the listed price
- Outside visitors cannot enter Sea Pines by bicycle, motorcycle, RV, or camper
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your ride for a refund. No refunds for late arrivals, no-shows, or riders over the 240 lb weight limit. If weather cancels the ride, rescheduling is offered; if that is not possible, there is no charge or a voucher for payments made.
FAQs
Dress for the temperature and precipitation. Long pants are recommended, especially if you have allergies. Ponchos and umbrellas are not permitted. The ride is mostly shaded, so hats and sunglasses are usually not necessary.
Bring a camera or cell phone only if you can secure it so it will not fall during the ride. After your trail ride, your guide can take a photo of you and your group with your device while you are on horseback.
