Ride gentle horses beneath Lowcountry oaks and palmettos
1 hr
Guided horseback trail ride
Explore Sea Pines Forest Preserve on horseback along shaded trails beneath palmettos and moss-covered oaks. Your guide shares Island culture and wildlife insights while keeping the ride at a walking pace.
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before your ride for a refund. No refunds for late arrivals, no-shows, or riders over the 240 lb weight limit. If weather cancels the ride, rescheduling is offered; if that is not possible, there is no charge or a voucher for payments made.
Dress for the temperature and precipitation. Long pants are recommended, especially if you have allergies. Ponchos and umbrellas are not permitted. The ride is mostly shaded, so hats and sunglasses are usually not necessary.
Bring a camera or cell phone only if you can secure it so it will not fall during the ride. After your trail ride, your guide can take a photo of you and your group with your device while you are on horseback.
