Rent an inflatable SUP for a full day on Acadia-area lakes and calm coves
Full day
SUP, paddle, PFD
Explore local lakes and calm coves at your own pace with a full-day inflatable stand-up paddleboard rental. You’ll get a brief setup orientation and a map of recommended paddling spots, then transport the board to your chosen launch.
You must be at least 18 to rent and sign a waiver and float plan. You are required to wear a US Coast Guard approved personal flotation device while on the water. Late returns may be charged a $10/hour fee, and early pick-up or next-day return is available for an additional $15 per board with an advance reservation.
For rentals: Cancel by 6pm the day before you take possession or full charges apply. No refunds for same-day cancellations, no shows, or reductions in party size. No refunds or credits for early returns or late pickups.
Yes. The shop is not on the water, so you transport the board and gear to and from your launch location.
Use your rental on local lakes or calm coves. Staff will discuss your plan and may limit where you paddle based on your ability and the day’s wind and weather. Some local lakes and beaches do not allow paddleboarding, including Eagle Lake, Jordan Pond, Upper Haddlock, Lower Haddlock, Sand Beach (6/15–9/8), and Echo Lake Beach (6/15–9/8).
Return your full-day rental by 5pm. It’s considered late 30 minutes after your rental time ends, and overdue rentals are charged a $10/hour late fee.
This operation has built an excellent reputation through consistently great service and well-maintained equipment. The e-bikes get particular praise for their reliability and long battery life, with multiple reviewers mentioning they easily handled full half-day rentals through Acadia's carriage roads. The staff, especially Kyle, earns frequent mentions for being helpful and knowledgeable, offering solid route recommendations and clear instructions that make first-timers feel confident. Their downtown Bar Harbor location offers convenient parking near the fire station. The paddle boarding tours are equally impressive, with guides like Mike and Chris standing out for their teaching abilities and deep knowledge of the area's natural history. These guides seem to have a real talent for adapting to different skill levels and making nervous beginners feel comfortable on the water. Pricing is competitive compared to other local options, and the whole operation runs efficiently with quick check-in and return processes. Several visitors returned for second rentals during their trip, which says plenty about the experience they deliver.
