Take a private helicopter flight to Knik Glacier, then learn basic glacier travel skills as you trek across the ice with an experienced guide. Spend about 4 hours total, with at least 40 minutes of flight time and over 3 hours on the glacier.
Guests must be age 10+; guests under 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. The helicopter seat weight limit is 300 lbs; guests over 300 lbs will not be permitted to fly and no refund will be given. Guests who weigh in at or over 250 lbs are charged an additional $250 fee, and parties exceeding the aircraft’s total weight limits may incur an additional $250 fee.
Full refund with 7 days notice. Within 72 hours of the designated tour time, 50% of booking fees will be refunded. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No refund for no-shows.
Arrive 30 minutes before your departure time for your safety briefing, gear sizing, and check-in.
Wear layers and dress for changing conditions. Bring an outer waterproof/windproof layer, a warm base layer, hat, gloves, warm socks, and sunglasses. Pack light because helicopter weight limits don’t allow excess baggage.
You get mountaineering boots, a harness, a helmet, and crampons.
