This consistently earns top marks from visitors who praise guides like Brian, Kennedy, Shiloh, and Rudy for making the experience both entertaining and genuinely educational. You'll learn about the surprisingly labor-intensive growing process, how to select good pineapples at home, and why the island's soil and climate produce fruit with noticeably more flavor and sweetness than grocery store varieties. The farm sits beautifully at the rainforest's edge with coastal views adding to the appeal. The fresh pineapple tasting straight from the field stands out as a highlight in nearly every review, with many calling it the best they've ever had. Some tours include hands-on planting opportunities, which adds an interactive element. As the last independent pineapple farm in the United States, there's real value in supporting this local operation. One guest wished they'd cut the pineapples at the end, but overall the experience is well-organized with clean facilities and a worthwhile gift shop to browse afterward.
