Spot dolphins and explore a barrier island on a 2-hour catamaran cruise
2 hrs
Set out on a 2-hour catamaran cruise from Myrtle Beach to search for dolphins and coastal wildlife. Step ashore for 15-20 minutes on a nearby barrier island to wander the undeveloped beach, with daytime and sunset departures.
Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure to check in. Dolphin sightings are not guaranteed, and rough seas or crowding may limit or cancel the island stop at the captain's discretion. Outside food, coolers, and glass are prohibited; drinks and snacks are sold onboard; recommended for ages 3+; bring hat, sunscreen, and waterproof shoes for the island.
Full refund up to 72 hours before start. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged in full.

The crew here consistently steals the show. Captain Mary comes up again and again as a standout, praised for her knowledge of the area, her storytelling, and her genuine warmth with families and kids. First mates like Brandon, Chip, and Claire get plenty of love too, with reviewers highlighting their attentiveness, good energy, and yes, the drinks. One family even noted that Brandon took time to chat with their autistic daughter about SpongeBob, which tells you a lot about the kind of people running these tours. Dolphin sightings are frequent and often impressive, with multiple guests spotting pods surfacing close to the boat, plus the occasional mama and baby pair. The island stop adds a fun bonus, giving guests a chance to explore, collect shells, and let kids splash around. A small number of reviewers did not spot dolphins and felt the boat was crowded, so it is worth knowing that wildlife sightings are never guaranteed and peak times can get busy. That said, those experiences appear to be the exception rather than the rule, and most guests leave genuinely happy.
We had such an amazing time on our boat trip! My autistic daughter had the best time, and what really made the experience special was the first mate, Brandon. He took the time to talk with her about SpongeBob, which is her absolute favorite, and that meant more than he probably even realized. It’s the little things that make an experience unforgettable, and Brandon definitely helped make this one special. We are so thankful for the kindness, patience, and fun energy from the crew. Highly recommend this trip! 🌊🐬💛
