    Excellent
    509 reviews•Google Maps

Lorie and her team have created something special here, offering both redwood forest rides and coastal adventures that consistently wow visitors. The horses are clearly well-cared-for and expertly matched to riders based on size and personality, making even complete beginners feel comfortable within minutes. Reviewers rave about the peaceful experience of riding through ancient redwoods and along Tolowa Dunes State Park, with guides sharing fascinating local history and plant knowledge along the way. What stands out most is the personal attention and genuine care for both guests and horses. First-timers appreciate how Lorie provides clear, simple instructions that ease any anxiety, while more experienced riders enjoy the diverse terrain and relaxed pace. The guides capture photos during rides, help retrieve dropped items, and operate year-round despite coastal weather challenges. People leave feeling they've connected with nature in an unforgettable way, with many already planning return visits to try the other trail option.

Shiloh-8 years old. Review of ride she took in 2024. We were just hiking last week and saw your company on a ride and today she found the sticker you gave her the day we went. Here's her review: It was really fun and I really liked the horse. I would like to go on another horse ride again!
