Swing out over a Moab canyon on a guided rope swing
3-4 hours
Off-road shuttle, Safety briefing
Meet at the shuttle parking area near Moab, then ride out by off-road shuttle for a guided rope swing from a sandstone ledge into the canyon. Your guides handle the setup, safety briefing, and gear fitting so you know what to expect before you step off.
Minimum age is 8, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Dogs are not allowed. Spectators who do not jump pay a $50 shuttle fee per person (must be booked in advance).
No refunds; all ticket sales are final. No-shows will be charged full price. Full refund or credit if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Arrive 15 minutes before your reservation start time. The shuttles leave at the start time, and the group can’t head down to the cliffs until everyone is there.
Bring everything you’ll need for a couple of hours in the desert, since there are no stores, water, food, or services on site. Pack water, food or snacks, sunscreen, and a jacket.
Expect limited to no cell phone service. Download an offline map before you arrive.
Moab
This family-owned operation delivers a memorable Moab experience that guests consistently rave about. The dinner cruise stands out for its generous buffet with plenty of choices, and the friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere from start to finish. Guides like Tasha and Richard get special mentions for being knowledgeable, funny, and genuinely engaging. The UTV sunset tours offer surprisingly exhilarating rides through steep terrain, while the river cruises provide a unique perspective of canyon walls illuminated against the night sky. Most visitors love the overall package, though a few noted the narrative leans heavily into Mormon pioneer history with what some felt was a one-sided perspective on indigenous peoples. The light show, while cool, struck some as simpler than expected. A couple guests wished for better beverage options on the premium tour and more familiar music choices during entertainment. Still, the overwhelming majority find it well-organized and worth doing, with many calling it a highlight of their Moab trip. The hot chocolate waiting after cold-weather cruises is a nice touch that shows the thoughtfulness here.
