Climb 3 via ferrata pitches and rappel 220 ft near Zion National Park
4 Hours
Up to 20 people
Equipment, via ferrata, rappels
Climb the longest and highest via ferrata on this “Tallest in Utah” tour, then finish with a series of rappels. Take in views of the Orderville valley and Zion National Park’s east side from the top.
Minimum age is 8+. This tour is weather dependent; if rain has saturated the wall within 24 hours, the route may switch to a slot canyon rappel experience without the via ferrata wall.
Full refund with at least 48 hours' notice. No refund for a no-show or past 15 minutes late. $100 rescheduling fee within 24 hrs of activity.
This adventure is subject to weather. If rain has saturated the wall within 24 hours, you will pivot to a different adventure where you can rappel through the slot canyon, and you will not use the via ferrata climbing wall.
Bring water, sunscreen, and good shoes. This adventure requires a bit of hiking.
No rock climbing experience is necessary for the “Tallest in Utah” via ferrata and rappelling tour.
ROAM East Zion, Orderville
This quirky little cave museum near Kanab is a genuine crowd-pleaser for travelers who love offbeat roadside stops. Visitors rave about the fluorescent rock displays, local history, and the genuinely welcoming staff and owners. There's even a small coffee shop on site, which makes it a solid pit stop on a long drive through southern Utah. A handful of visitors felt the experience leaned more toward gift shop than museum, so it's worth going in with the right expectations. Think of it as a fun, affordable curiosity rather than a deep dive into cave exploration. Families especially seem to enjoy it, with kids gravitating toward the souvenir shop and the cave atmosphere keeping things memorable year after year.
Very unique little museum that I definitely recommend if you're in the area. Really nice staff and cool history.
