This mountain resort has built a genuinely warm reputation, driven largely by the people who work there. Guides like Jeff, Matt, John, Sarah, and others get called out by name repeatedly in reviews, praised for being professional, safety-conscious, and just plain fun to be around. The zipline tours in particular draw enthusiastic responses, with reviewers noting that the guides make the experience far more memorable than the activity alone. The skiing side of things earns similar praise, especially from families. Kids ski free at certain ages, lessons are well-run, and the overall atmosphere feels relaxed and welcoming rather than rushed or overcrowded. Season pass holders describe it as a place that reminds you why outdoor sports are fun in the first place. The lodge food also gets surprisingly strong reviews, with a few people going out of their way to mention specific dishes. The tubing area has drawn some mixed feedback, with a handful of visitors feeling the hills are better suited to younger children than older kids or adults. One skier also had a rough day on the slopes, noting uneven conditions. These seem like isolated experiences rather than consistent patterns, but worth keeping in mind when planning your visit.
Did the valley zipline tour this morning, was incredible. So much fun. Our guides Sarah and Bob, names could be wrong because I forget names easily , but omg totally made the trip so much fun. Both were so friendly, very professional, safety was first and foremost and I can't wait to return and hopefully get the same guides, it truly made the experience so much more memorable. They love what they do and they take such pride in working their and it shows. Very well done guys. Keep it up. See you soon I hope. 5 stars isn't enough for this place and it's staff.
