    Itinerary

    We will greet you at Bartholomew Estate Winery, match you to your perfect horse, offer riding instructions, and guide you through the Estates vineyards and park. After your ride, you will visit the beautiful winery to enjoy your tastings! The winery has an art gallery, hiking trails, and a gorgeous oak tree knoll perfect for relaxing and enjoying their amazing wines. If you would like to pair your wine with a charcuterie plate or other food, please let us know in advance! We would be happy to make this a very special occasion for you.

    Important details

    • Arrive 15 minutes before your ride time
    • Ages 21+ only
    • Weight limit 225 lbs; riders must also fall within average body mass index parameters
    • Requires fitting comfortably in the saddle and mounting and dismounting safely without assistance
    • Do not ride after drinking alcohol or using substances that impair safe riding
    • Sign a release of liability waiver before riding

    Cancellation Policy

    Give at least 48 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. Late arrivals aren't refunded. Unsafe-weather cancellations receive a refund minus a 10% booking fee.

    FAQs

    Dress according to the current weather. Long pants are encouraged for riding. We have cowgirl/cowboy boots available for rent for $5.00. Riding in tennis shoes or flip-flops is not safe.

    Yes, there is a 225lb weight limit and riders must be at least 12 years old. All riders approaching the 225lb limit will be weighed at the ranch to ensure the safety of both riders and horses.

    If you would like to include a charcuterie plate or other food with your wine tasting, please let us know in advance and we’ll make it a special occasion for you.
