This family-run operation has guests raving about their self-drive catamaran tours through St. Augustine's waterways. The guides, particularly Jeremy, JT, and Captain Tom, consistently earn praise for being friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely enthusiastic about sharing the area's history and marine life. Multiple reviewers mention this is something they've done multiple times and still want to go back for more, which says a lot about the experience. What makes this stand out is the combination of excitement and intimacy. You're driving your own small boat just inches above the water at speeds around 30 mph, which means you can actually have conversations unlike louder watercraft tours. The close encounters with dolphins, manatees, and sea turtles feel special because of how low you sit on the water. Families spanning from young kids to grandparents all report having a blast, and several people mentioned it topped other adventure activities they've done like ATVing or parasailing. The guides take photos throughout and know exactly where to find wildlife, making it feel like an adventure rather than just a sightseeing tour.

One of THE best ways to spend a day in St. Augustine!! It is so much fun and such a unique experience. I’ve gone on three tours now with friends and family visiting from out of town and it’s an absolute blast each time! I’ve done 3 tours, and I still plan on going again very soon. The tour guides are phenomenal and very well educated on the history of St. Augustine and the marine life. I’ve been able to encounter dolphins and manatees on my tours! It’s so incredibly cool to be what feels like sitting right on top of the water and the marine life come so close to you. The fact that you get to drive your own little “boat” is so fun. Such a more intimate experience than doing those group dolphin tours. Do it! Book the tour. Go have an adventure you’ll never forget and likely want to go back for another!
