Know before you go
- Arrive at least 10 minutes early for check-in
- Sign a release before participating; paddlers under 18 without an accompanying adult need a parent or guardian signature
- Single kayaks require ages 8+ and have a 275 lb weight limit; fishing kayaks require ages 8+ and have a 320 lb limit
- Stand-up paddleboards require ages 9+ and have a 250 lb weight limit
- Tandem kayaks require passengers ages 2+ and at least 30 lbs, with a 435 lb total weight limit
- Canoes require passengers ages 2+ and at least 30 lbs, with a 600 lb total weight limit; one middle-seat rider is allowed if age 12 or younger and under 100 lbs
- Tubes require ages 5+
- Return by the end of your reserved time; a late fee may apply after 15 minutes and is not included in the listed price: $20 per boat plus $20 for each additional hour, rounded up
- Leave glass, alcohol, and styrofoam behind; do not paddle or swim while intoxicated
- Bring dogs only in canoes
Cancellation Policy
No refunds. Cancellations and no-shows within 24 hours of your reservation receive no refund.
FAQs
Bring plenty of water, sunscreen, insect repellent, protective footwear, weather-appropriate clothing, snacks, and a water-protected phone for emergencies. Bring dry bags for anything that cannot get wet, plus fishing gear if you plan to fish.
Explore on your own without a guide. Before your paddle rental, staff provide a safety briefing, basic paddling instruction, and assistance launching and taking out your watercraft.
Personal-item storage is not available. Bring only what you can take with you on the water and protect items from getting wet.
