Know before you go
- Complete a release of liability before participating; a parent or guardian must sign for anyone under 18
- Adult tubes are for ages 14+ and have a 275 lb weight limit; child tubes are for ages 9–13; double tubes are for ages 5+
- Bring protective closed-toe, closed-heel footwear that will not float off in the water
- No glass, alcohol, or Styrofoam; do not tube or swim while intoxicated
- Expect very low water conditions that may require walking your tube at times
- Exit at the designated take-out; the next public access is 4 miles downstream and can take many hours to reach
- The take-out requires stepping from your tube in shallow water and climbing a short ladder out of the river
Cancellation Policy
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before start. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows are nonrefundable.
FAQs
Bring closed-toe, closed-heel footwear that will stay on in the water, a water bottle, sunscreen, clothing that can get wet, and a dry bag for items that cannot get wet. Bring snacks if you like, and take at least one water-protected phone.
Water depth varies along the float but is generally 2–3 feet deep. The deepest spots may be about 5 feet.
Do not tie tubes together. Ropes can catch on rocks in the rapids.
