Immerse yourself in the South African Cape Winelands on an eight-day journey. Enjoy private transfers, chauffeured Mercedes vans, tastings at historic estates, the Franschhoek Wine Tram, a sip + safari + wine day, and a festive farewell dinner.
All travelers must be 18+ to join tastings. Closed-toed shoes are required for winery production tours. South Africa uses Type M plugs; bring a suitable adapter.
What is the minimum number of travelers required to run a journey?
A journey requires a guaranteed minimum of either six (6) or twelve (12) travelers to operate.
What happens if a journey is cancelled due to low enrollment?
If the traveler minimum is not met, the journey will be cancelled, and you will receive a full refund of all monies paid.
What is the cancellation policy?
Cancellations less than 60 days before the start date receive a 0% refund. The maximum refund is 100% for cancellations made 90+ days out.
Is travel insurance included?
Yes, Silver Plus Travel Insurance is included in the cost of your journey, providing coverage for medical, liability, and cancellation limits.
Are flights included in the cost?
No. All airfare to and from the starting city is the sole responsibility of the traveler.
What kind of ground transport is used?
All scheduled group ground transportation is provided by dedicated chauffeur service in luxury Mercedes V-Class vans.
Are all meals included?
Daily breakfast is included. Group lunches and dinners are included as specified in the detailed itinerary.
What happens if I have a flight delay?
The traveler is responsible for covering any costs incurred to rejoin the group if arrival or departure is delayed.
What is the policy on traveler conduct?
Strict adherence to the Code of Conduct is required. Turnstile Travel reserves the right to remove any traveler without refund if their conduct jeopardizes the group's safety or enjoyment.
Who do I contact in an emergency?
You will be provided with a 24/7 Tour Leader/Concierge emergency contact number upon arrival for support during the journey.
What taxes are excluded from the purchase price?
All local Tourism Taxes or resort fees are excluded and must be paid by the traveler directly to the hotel upon check-in/out.
100% refund if canceled 90+ days before the tour. 50% refund if canceled 60–89 days before the tour. No refund within 60 days of the tour.
