Explore Frenchman Bay on an afternoon schooner cruise designed for livelier sailing in stronger breezes. Listen to narration on local history, geographic points, and wildlife as you sail for 1.5–2 hours.
No outside alcohol is allowed onboard, and guests are screened while boarding. Board at 1 Newport Dr. on the Bar Harbor Inn Pier and arrive 30 minutes early.
Refund with 24 hours notice minus a 10% processing fee. Within 24 hours, tickets are forfeited and no refund. Full refund if the operator cancels due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. No-shows are charged the full price.
Arrive 30 minutes before your sail for boarding.
Bring a warm jacket or sweater. Bring binoculars if you want to watch for wildlife.
You can bring food, including a snack or picnic lunch. Beer and wine are available for sale on afternoon cruises. Do not bring any other alcohol onboard.
