Important details
- Ages 12+ only
- Requires hiking up to 13.5 miles on rolling hills with one steep climb at elevations of 8,100 to 9,900 feet
- Complete an electronic waiver for each participant before the hike
- Bring a small backpack with at least 3 liters of water and snacks
- Wear tennis shoes, trail runners, or hiking boots, and bring layered clothing with a wind and rain jacket
- Bring bug repellent, sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses
- Park admission for adults 16+ is not included: $20; non-resident adults 16+ also incur a $100 non-resident fee
- One America the Beautiful Pass or Non-Resident Annual Pass covers admission for up to four adults
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 7 days before: $10 per person fee. Cancel or change less than 7 days before: 50% charge. Within 72 hours, or if you miss the trip: full trip cost. Activities run rain, snow, or shine.
