• Requires strenuous hiking over 5–6 miles with up to 1,500 feet of elevation gain
• Expect off-trail hiking; park hiking is only available if requested by the group
• Wear sturdy walking or trail shoes and dress in layers
• Bring a backpack with water and snacks, plus sun protection and any personal comfort items
• Trailhead transportation is available from local Denali properties and unavailable in Healy or south of Denali Cabins toward Anchorage
