Important details

• Ages 9+ only; single kayaks require ages 14+, and tandem kayak paddlers ages 9–13 require an adult
• Children under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Weight limit 50–275 lbs and height range 4'6"–6'6"
• Requires gripping a paddle or safety handle, sitting upright unassisted, and traveling over uneven natural terrain
• Previous Class II+ whitewater experience is recommended for kayakers
• Single and tandem kayak paddlers must pass a skills test before launch
• Avoid applying sunscreen or bug spray to your neck and wrists before the trip
• Leave firearms, illegal substances, alcohol, and personal river equipment behind
