Saddle up for a guided, beginner-friendly trail ride through the French Creek Nature Area in Custer State Park. You’ll ride at a walk on mild terrain with a small group.
Ages 5+; children on the trail must ride alone and meet minimum safety requirements. Maximum weight limit is 230 lbs for individuals 6-feet or less; if you are 6-feet or taller, clarify the limit with Greetwell before booking. Rides may be delayed or rescheduled due to excessive heat, thunder, or lightning.
Full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. Full credit if the operator cancels due to unforeseen circumstances, including severe inclement weather that prevents the tour from departing. No-shows or cancellations within 48 hours are charged the full price.
No. Each rider is assigned an individual horse based on weight, and double riding isn’t allowed. Children going out on the trail must ride alone and meet minimum safety requirements.
If you’re under 18, you must wear a helmet (provided). If you’re 18 or older, you can choose to wear a helmet or complete a helmet waiver instead. You may also bring your own equine or bike helmet.
