Float the Shenandoah River on a relaxing flat water tubing trip. Your ticket is an all-day pass, and the shuttle lets you float again and again.
Participants must know how to swim and weigh 40+ lbs, with a 300 lb max; anyone under 18 must be with an adult. Wear secure water shoes or sandals with an ankle strap; no flip-flops. Pets are not allowed (service animals only). Arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled departure and complete the liability waiver.
Where is the check-in location?
150 Millville Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425. The flat water tubing starting point is not at the main location.
How long does the float take?
Depending on river conditions, approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
When do shuttles depart?
Every 30 minutes on weekends and hourly on weekdays.
What if I run late for my trip?
Arrive 30 minutes before your departure. Late arrivals may result in your trip being canceled without a refund.
Do I need to fill out a waiver?
Yes. One liability form is required for each person. Parents may complete waivers for their own children; others need a form signed by the child's parent.
What should I wear?
Wear river sandals secured to your feet or old sneakers. In warmer weather, wear swimwear and sun protection. In spring and fall, avoid cotton; wetsuits and splash tops are available.
Will I get wet?
Yes. Wear clothes you do not mind getting wet and avoid taking valuables unless in waterproof containers.
What should I bring?
Bring an extra change of clothes and shoes, plus a towel. A bathhouse is available for changing and showers.
What happens if I fall out of my tube?
Wear your PFD, grab your tube, and float on your back with feet downstream through rapids until calm water. Do not stand up in moving current.
Can I stay after my adventure?
Yes. Enjoy hot showers, a brewery, and mountaintop views at the main location.

This outfitter really shines when it comes to white water rafting and adventure activities. Guests consistently rave about their guides—Jeremy, Rocky, Logan, Connor, and Andy all get called out by name for being knowledgeable, safety-focused, and genuinely fun to be around. Families particularly appreciate how the staff handles kids, keeping them engaged and safe while teaching them about local history. The facility itself is clean and conveniently located next to a brewery, with food trucks often on site, which is perfect after a day on the water. The riverfront campsites get praise for their gorgeous views too. There are some notable hiccups worth mentioning. Recent reviews show significant confusion around their synthetic ice skating rink—multiple families arrived expecting traditional ice and left disappointed after just minutes. The marketing apparently doesn't make it clear enough that it's plastic tiles, not real ice, which creates a very different skating experience. A couple of reviewers also mentioned last-minute cancellations due to low ticket sales, which is frustrating when you've planned a trip around the activity. One tubing incident resulted in injuries without apparent safety oversight during the float. The core adventure activities like rafting and ziplining seem solid, but set clear expectations if you're booking newer offerings like the ice skating.
We had a great time ice skating! The only problem was that they called us to ask that we move our reservation due to an event. We had zero issues with this, and my husband also double and triple checked with them that we'd be able to eat there after skating as well and that the event wouldn't conflict with our dining plans. He was assured - multiple times - that it would not. We were excited to skate and then eat, but once we had finished skating we went to the main brewery/dining entrance and discovered that the event did, in fact, mean that they would be closing early, and we would not be able to dine there as we were promised. We were rather disappointed by this and had to dine elsewhere. The skating was fun though.

We had zero issues with this, and my husband also double and triple checked with them that we'd be able to eat there after skating as well and that the event wouldn't conflict with our dining plans. He was assured - multiple times - that it would not. We were excited to skate and then eat, but once we had finished skating we went to the main brewery/dining entrance and discovered that the event did, in fact, mean that they would be closing early, and we would not be able to dine there as we were promised. We were rather disappointed by this and had to dine elsewhere. The skating was fun though.
