Enjoy a leisurely 4.75-mile float down the State Scenic Section of the Shenandoah River while your guide rows and you take in mountain and farmland views. This half-day trip includes snacks, drinks and comfortable swivel seating for up to 18 guests.

The vibe hits you the moment you arrive: friendly, laid-back, and genuinely fun. People rave about the smooth check-in process, clean facilities with essential supplies available, and those entertaining safety briefings that actually keep you engaged. What really stands out is how accommodating the team is when plans go sideways. Multiple reviewers mention last-minute changes, late arrivals, and flight cancellations, and the staff consistently found solutions without hassle. They offer impressive variety too, from quick 1.5-hour floats to overnight camping trips with yurt accommodations. Jeff gets particular praise for his local knowledge about fishing spots and water conditions. The location itself is super convenient right in town with easy parking and takeout, and you'll have your pick of tubes, kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards for exploring the Shenandoah.
I can’t say enough great things about this place. My son and I signed up for the 15 mi. overnight float for the Labor Day weekend and had some last minute flight cancellations that delayed us. Jeff and crew were more than understanding and above accommodating to making sure we could adjust our plans. While our timing had us miss putting in at the start point, his team personally delivered our canoe, paddles, maps, and wood to our campsite before we got there which allowed us to set up camp and get settled in. He also filled us in on the water levels, gave us some pro tips on the hot fishing spots, and set aside a premium river overlook campsite for us when we ended our float. Since we had a great first day, we stuck around another day to rent kayaks and explore the rest of the river and hit some other spots based upon his recommendations. I was personally impressed with his and his team’s ability to manage so many folks with so many requests as efficiently as they did and maintain such a friendly atmosphere. This was an 11/10 experience and we’re already planning on coming back. Tell your friends!
