Know before you go

• Ages 12+ only
• Designed for experienced fly anglers and rated as the most strenuous trip
• Requires excellent health and physical condition
• Requires hiking, wading, or standing throughout the day, covering 2–5 miles
• Requires standing or walking for 3–4 hours at a time, walking up to 1 mile over uneven terrain, and wading shallow streams
• An Alaska fishing license is required for anglers age 16+; a one-day out-of-state license costs $15
• Bring extra socks, layers, a brimmed hat, sunblock, deet-free bug spray, sunglasses, a water bottle, a small backpack, and rain gear
• A two-person minimum is required to operate the trip
