Know before you go
- Weight requirement: 100–235 lbs
- Requires running a short distance on sand
- Complete a participation waiver
- Bring a parent or guardian signature if you are under 18
- Expect weather-related cancellations or rescheduling when conditions are unsafe
- Wear light, breathable clothing that allows you to run
- Wear sneakers and socks, or sand socks, when the sand is hot
- Bring 1–2 liters of water per person and wear sunscreen, as there is no shade on the dunes
Cancellation Policy
Cancel at least 48 hours before the activity for a full refund. No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours. Reschedule or wind-check until the day before; no same-day rescheduling. Late arrivals and no-shows are not refunded or rescheduled.
FAQs
Choose mid-thigh shorts or longer. Harness leg loops may be uncomfortable in shorter shorts.
A water and Gatorade vending machine is available. Bring cash, as there are no ATMs in the park.
